This beautiful view out our hotel window the next morning was just the start of an exciting day. We headed to the local Queenstown airport to board a scenic flight tour to Milford Sound. I got to sit in the co-pilot seat! The ride was breathtaking. It felt as if you could reach out and touch the snow-capped mountains.
Our destination was Milford Sound, where we would ride a ferry through the gorgeous channel to the ocean's entrance and back. Though windy and chilly, the sun shined throughout the day, making our adventure spectacular.
